We apologize for not posting a blog yesterday, it was a really long day and we were all hyper-focused on being ready for the conference. So now, you get a two-in-one blog post!!
We met early at O’hare Tuesday morning without the juniors (who were waiting for us patiently in new york) and were ready to go! After a mostly uneventful flight with a little turbulence, we landed safely at LaGuardia and took the vans to the Hilton hotel which was to be our home for the next five days. After checking in, students were free to explore and hang out. Some even went to central park!!
We all met up at 5 and walked over to Kosher Deluxe to pick up our deluxe meals and scarfed them down. We had some extra time so were able to stop by 30rock for some iconic pictures
We the bustled over to the ambassador theater where we say Chicago. Students joked that we left Chicago just to see Chicago! The musical was highly enjoyable with amazing choreography, we learned that one of the leads was played by a 61 year old woman who was able to do the splits!!
We then went back to the hotel, had a quick team meeting and went to bed!
